- The Rural Decentralized Water Systems Grant Program and Revolving Funds for Financing Water and Wastewater Projects Program are administered by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development;
- A key difference in the new programs is what qualifies as an eligible area. Tribes and colonies are eligible for both, but instead of towns of 50,000 or less, the second program is only eligible to towns of 10,000 or less;
