Julie Bebermeyer is the Chief Operating Officer and leads the Human Resources, Office Management, and Information Technology efforts for both APWA offices. She has worked for APWA for more than 20 years. Julie has been involved in many of the association’s changes including staff growth and development plus five office moves. She also spearheaded the technology transformation project that launched in July 2023. She is passionate about creating an experience for members and staff to leverage opportunities to professionally grow within their own careers.
She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. In addition, Julie is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management.
She is a graduate of Western Governor’s University with a master of arts in leadership and management and also holds an undergraduate bachelor of science in business management with a Human Resources emphasis.
A true planner at heart, she likes to take on challenges both professionally and personally and likes to add a creative twist to simplify and streamline projects. She enjoys traveling, supporting her son’s active sports schedule, and football season.
