Comparing Approaches to Inflow and Infiltration Mitigation Across the US. Regardless of size, location or climate most cities deal with some level of inflow and infiltration (I&I) issues. Addressing I&I can involve cross-discipline coordination between wastewater, stormwater, and water professionals. This presentation will focus on two case studies in different climatic regions of the United States. Differences in topography, geology, and climate affect the relative contribution from sources of I&I. These differences also affect the approaches to characterizing and mitigating I&I.

The webinar provides an overview of relevant terminology related to AVs as well as defines and distinguishes between automated, autonomous, connected, driverless, and self-driving vehicles. The webinar also discusses the potential benefits of AVs as well as concerns, from the perspective of individual travelers, the private sector, and communities (i.e. the public sector). The webinar then discusses the relationships between AVs and transportation infrastructure, covering roadway maintenance, vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, funding infrastructure upgrades, and planning infrastructure for an AV future.
