Agencies pursuing accreditation didn’t have to go through the evaluation process blindly. Peer reviews offered valuable feedback from experienced professionals who had been through the process. In this forum, we discussed what to expect from a peer review and why it is an important step in the accreditation process. A well-executed peer review helped agencies identify strengths, address gaps, and gain confidence before the evaluation began. Knowing what to expect and how to prepare made a significant difference in ensuring a smoother and less stressful evaluation.

The panel featured peer reviewers and agency representatives who shared firsthand experiences, lessons learned, and strategies for making the most of peer reviews. Participants also learned how to interpret feedback and make updates and improvements based on peer review recommendations.
