Back by popular demand . . . the presenters are honored to offer a two-part series on equipment calibration for winter maintenance. Accurate equipment calibration is a cornerstone best management practice for winter maintenance operations. Yet, many agencies do not recognize or understand its value. Building on the first session in this two-part series for a first-hand account to understanding the “what” and the “why” of calibration, this session, Part 2 in the series, discusses the “how” to accurately calibrate, offering both understanding and resources required to ensure success. This session includes an on-site, hands-on calibration demonstration.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be better able to:

• Build knowledge related to the differences in various controller types and the respective requirements for accurate calibration.
• Review the calibration process required for common controller types.
• Gain access to valuable resources to support calibration program success.
