The International Public Works Director Roundtable is an annual interactive session that targets Public Works Directors (PWDs) or their equivalents worldwide. Using the tagline “Where Directors Go to Grow” and using their own logo, the presenters plan on building on the successes in Toronto, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Orlando, Kansas City, Seattle, and Charlotte. The International Public Works Director Roundtable continuously ranks as one of the most popular and highest-rated sessions each year. This session is designed to be participatory and to maximize engagement with all the directors present. Directors are seated at roundtables encouraging interaction with each other. This session enables directors from around the world to network and learn from each other’s experiences. After this session, participants will be able to:
• Advocate for public works.
• Collaborate with fellow public works directors from around the world in pursuit of solutions to public works challenges.
• Network with their peers from across the world.

Primers are used to educate policymakers about public works roles and responsibilities in public rights of way, the impact of federal workforce development policies on the industry and workforce, and the importance of resilient infrastructure.
PWX
PWX session recordings cover a wide variety of topics, including integrating modes of transportation, traffic and transit, construction management, emergency management, engineering and technology, fleet and facilities, management, parks and grounds, snow and ice control, and stormwater/flood control, as well as solid waste, roads and bridges and water/wastewater.
