The 2011 catastrophic Mouse River Flood devastated property and infrastructure in the North Dakota communities of Minot and Burlington as well as surrounding rural areas. This presentation will focus on the Minot Water Treatment Plant Hazard Mitigation Project and on current efforts to develop and implement a basin-wide flood risk reduction plan for the entire valley.
