Leduc County’s Nisku Spine Road project is its first attempt at implementing a value-based project delivery system developed by researchers at Arizona State University. Using the process, proposal evaluation time was reduced by 75%. The main advantage of the process was its ability to simplify contractor selection through the alignment of project expertise.
