It’s time for a new quarterly episode of the Roving Reporter. In this episode, we took a look at one of the numerous projects happening in Kansas City—many with a deadline of completion in time for FIFA.

Although this project ended up being primarily concerned with making a dangerous road safer and pedestrian-friendly, it got started in an unusual way—by a community’s disappointment that a beloved fountain was allowed to fall into disrepair.
