The Clear Roads Pooled Fund and the Minnesota DOT have developed a best practice guide which discusses the pros and cons of various lighting packages and configurations, mounting locations and new technologies for use by winter maintenance agencies. This session will discuss the findings and conclusions.
By attending this session, participants will be better able to:
1. Identify best lighting practices for use in snowplow operations.
2. Implement effective practices for lighting used by other agencies.
3. Adapt current lighting practices to meet their needs.
