Utilizing alternative fuels in your agency’s fleet can provide additional security during times of emergencies. In many cases, they are readily available and do not require additional transportation to be utilized. Identifying the level of winter type emergencies, current fleet vehicles and fiscal documentation on alternative fuel infrastructure will help public works professionals make their case back home.
