About This Group
To support APWA members that operate, improve, and maintain public works and infrastructure through advocacy, education, resource development, and member engagement in the field of asset management.
About the Committee
The Asset Management Technical Committee was established in 2018 to continue the work of the Asset Management Task Force that was created in 2015 by APWA President Larry Stevens. The committee held its first meeting at PWX in Kansas City. The committee has a multi-year work plan to support the APWA Strategic Plan and provide education in the area of asset management.
Resources for Members
The Resource Center has a collection of resources focused on asset management. Items include recorded sessions from past PWX sessions, past Click, Listen, and Learn webinars, APWA Reporter articles, and other programs and tools created by the Asset Management Committee.
Asset Management Knowledge Team
In an effort to expand volunteer opportunities to those who may be interested in contributing to the Asset Management Committee, the committee has created an Asset Management Knowledge Team. Members of the knowledge team will commit to share information with APWA members by writing articles; presenting Click, Listen, and Learn webinars; speaking at PWX and other conferences; and other projects.
