KANSAS CITY, MO—The American Public Works Association (APWA) is excited to share that it has been recognized multiple times as part of the 47th Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television and are judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies. This year’s winners include Paramount TV, Warner Brothers Discovery, FOX Entertainment, United Talent Agency, Olympic Channel, AccuWeather, ABC News, and more.

APWA won three awards for:

“At APWA, we’re all-in on highlighting and bringing to life the essential role public works plays in our communities that rely on us each and every day. I’m proud of all who were involved in creating these memorable video stories that clearly resonated with the judging panel. I am happy to see them recognized for all the hard work they do,” said APWA President Vic Bianes, PE.

More than 13,000 entries were received from around the world. Winners were chosen by the Telly Awards Judging Council, which is comprised of more than 250 experts in video production. Judges came from Google, HBO, the WNBA, Netflix, and more.
