This educational session will address software and database solutions, mobile technologies, web-based tools, cloud technology, 3D modeling, and enterprise solutions as it relates to remote data collection technologies using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). The session will cover how comprehensive UAV fleet management systems are used to track pilots, hardware, and projects in a centralized location to plan and execute drone flights and manage an organization’s UAV fleet to run safe and efficient drone operations. After this session, participants will be able to:
• Determine what an organization needs to fly a UAV in FAA-regulated and non-regulated airspace.
• Recognize how to get data, not just pictures, from the images captured remotely with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) based asset management.
• Deploy drones on their next project to maximize productivity with minimal staff.
