Chapters can cover a large geographic area so some of the chapters have formed branches to bring educational and networking opportunities even closer to the APWA member. Branches operate under the oversight of the associated APWA chapter.
All APWA chapters and branches are part of APWA, therefore it is not possible to have a membership at the chapter or branch level only. Some Chapters and Branches have established membership dues to help support the programs that they are offering at the chapter and branch levels. These dues are payable at the time of the purchase or renewal of an APWA individual or group membership.
