There are two core requirements for agencies that are working toward accreditation. First, the agency must document its practices – the policies, procedures, and processes guiding it in its daily operation. Secondly, the agency must describe how it complies with each applicable practice in the manual. This compliance statement is entered into the self-assessment software and helps the evaluators understand how you believe you have met each practice requirement. But how much information do you need to provide? What will the evaluator be looking for in this section of the software? Are you including too much (or too little) description in this section?
Our panel of experienced accreditation program evaluators will share their perspectives on how to effectively describe how you meet these practices. Their discussion will help you write compliance statements that are clearly understood, concise yet inclusive, and effectively answer how your agency meets compliance. Registrants can participate in a live Q&A session with the panel.
