Transportation

This program will provide information on the 11th Edition to the MUTCD and inform public works professionals as to the importance of these updates. There are more than 650 changes from the 2009 MUTCD to the recently released 11th Edition of the MUTCD. This program will work to provide vital information to public works leaders and decision-makers as to the changes we are currently aware of and their significance.

After completing this course, participants will be better able to:

  1. Comprehend the MUTCD standards, guidance, etc., in order to provide a safer transportation environment for all modes of travel.
  2. Investigate potential funding to comply with the national MUTCD 11th Edition.
  3. Use national resources to seek additional knowledge of the MUTCD 11th Edition.
