FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KANSAS CITY, MO—The world’s largest organization of public works professionals recently announced it will partner with BuildWitt to provide public works professionals with access to expert-led micro-lessons tailored for all experience levels. By collaborating on educational resources specific to public works operations and maintenance, the American Public Works Association (APWA) and BuildWitt can help agencies build a better workforce by training, recruiting, and retaining top talent.

“Public works professionals know that their learning never stops,” said APWA CEO Scott Grayson, CAE. “As new technologies emerge and environments continue to change, our members must be resilient and ready to address ongoing and challenges in new ways. That’s why education and training are core elements of our member services. We’re excited to partner with BuildWitt to bring their high-quality training to our members who work in operations and maintenance.”

As part of this partnership, APWA’s Operations and Maintenance Subcommittee will collaborate with BuildWitt to identify courses for a new public works training track that will be available to APWA members as part of BuildWitt’s extensive learning library. APWA members will also receive discounts on BuildWitt’s software implementation fees and registration to attend the annual Dirt World Summit.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with APWA to support their members through BuildWitt training,” said Jason Richmond, COO of BuildWitt. “Our microlearning platform, featuring more than 1,500 lessons, is designed to help people improve every day and build a stronger future for the Dirt World.”
