Join the Leadership and Management Committee as they look at some of the case studies highlighted in the 2025 APWA Reporter “Focus On” series. The committee will continue to showcase the previously developed frameworks of Learning Leadership, Mastering Management, Successful Supervision, and Cultivating Culture and how these frameworks are becoming the “common language” for public works professionals throughout APWA.
After this session, participants will be better able to:
• Review the Leadership and Management Committee’s “common language” frameworks of Learning Leadership, Mastering Management, Successful Supervision, and Cultivating Culture.
• Describe how this “common language” from the frameworks can help guide intentional actions taken by public works professionals in specific real-life case studies.
• Study the frameworks and think about how they can take them back and reference them in the future with their organization and team.
